WORKING GROUP 1

9:30 am - 10:30 am WORKING GROUP 1: Building The Bond: Evolving Stakeholder Relationships By Demonstrating Value
Ann-Marie McCarthy - Chief Procurement Officer, Endurance International Group Lisa Becker - North America Head of Procurement, GfK
We all want to improve and enhance our stakeholder relationships, and today, it can’t be done without demonstrating value. The days of cost savings are mostly gone - but the days of value will continue to persist and evolve given today's ever-changing business environment. So how do you know what value really means in your organization? Once determined, how do you demonstrate it? What are the key components of value and building a true partnership with stakeholders beyond just cost-savings?

WORKING GROUP 2

9:30 am - 10:30 am WORKING GROUP 2: The Need For Speed: Creating An Agile And Quick Procurement Function
Karen Webley - Senior Director, Strategic Sourcing, LinkedIn Guy Smith - Sr. Director of Procurement Sourcing, Equifax
Let's face it: speed is not a trait often associated with procurement, a highly process-oriented function - but in a fast-moving and disruptive era, stakeholders may not always be most concerned with the procurement team's ability to scour the globe for the cheapest possible supplier. Many modern enterprises place a higher value in a procurement team that is agile, nimble and can respond quickly to immediate needs. In this working group, hone your ability to respond quickly, react vigorously and shed the old stereotypes.

These days, most companies are on a journey to have a more strategic approach to supplier management,
taking a more substantial and data-based approach to finding and keeping  partner companies – but with both digitization and demand on  a  head spinning rise, what are the best practices in supplier management in the now and future?
•Supplier discovery engines
•Sourcing disruptive suppliers
•Reinventing the bid process

Lynn McKnight - Head of Procurement, Jefferson Science Associates LLC
Has your company set ambitious targets for sustainable sourcing in its future? While these are often generated by the CEO, it is often down to procurement to find a practical way to achieve these goals. •Aligning sourcing initiatives to company ethics
•How recycling materials and services can result in a cost effective initiative
•Local environmental and human rights regulations
•Establishing a sustainable, progressing procurement strategy
•Assessing and quantifying sustainable procurement processes
