Michael is a subject matter expert in the built environment, with more than 20 years experience in the fields of Architecture, Construction, Finance, and Strategic Sourcing. His professional experience blends supply chain process methodologies, finance principles, and operations management to enable the clients Direct and Indirect facility management spend. As a strategic consultant, he has delivered measurable results, evidenced by improved key performance indicators and significant corporate indirect expense savings annually. His integrated approach to Facility Management has provided transformative solutions for multiple fortune 500 companies corporate services organizations, improving performance and reducing the cost contribution associated with indirect corporate spending. Michael’s research explores the role of decision making in Facility Operations and Maintenance as an enabler of operational performance. His recent research efforts resulted in a decision support tool for K- 12 Facility Directors and advancements in BIM education. Michael is a current member of the Environmental Technology Building Information Modeling (ETBIM) Lab at Arizona State University.
