Matt Smith is a Director of Enterprise Procurement and Supplier Management at Humana Inc., where he leads a category management team for medical supplies, equipment, and pharmacy in support of the CenterWell Healthcare business. He brings over a decade of experience in sourcing, supplier management, and operations, having previously held leadership roles at GE Appliances in manufacturing, sourcing, and supplier quality. A proud United States Marine, Matt served eight years on active duty with deployments in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps Reserves. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science from Eastern Kentucky University and is a graduate of GE’s Junior Officer Leadership Program. Outside of work, he is a dedicated family man to his loving wife and their six children, marathon runner, triathlete, and musician.
