James Rafferty leads Procurement at Thumbtack, where he built the company's global procurement function from the ground up. Today his team supports stakeholders across the US, Canada and the Philippines, covering procurement policy, intake and procure-to-pay systems, and IT, SaaS and indirect sourcing.

James has spent more than a decade in procurement across energy, automotive, healthcare and tech. He negotiated contracts at ConocoPhillips, led IT category management at Autoliv and ran North American indirect spend at Fresenius Medical Care before joining Thumbtack.
