Harold Nwariaku is a CPO level procurement leader with 20+ years of global impact, credited with $1B+ in value creation, 50%+ efficiency gains, and stewardship of multi-billion-dollar spend.
As Country Head of CIPS Americas, he delivers enterprise-wide transformations, supplier excellence, and digital enablement, yielding productivity improvements and measurable results for clients. In his previous role at Procurement and Supply Chain Consultants, he partnered with CIPS to deliver breakthrough training for Dana Inc., Vallourec, Ardagh Group, Motorola Solutions, and Health Procurement Africa. Other clients he has worked with are; Beiersdorf, KPMG, and Lafarge.
Earlier, as Head of Procurement at MTN Nigeria, he led a 40-person team managing a $2B+ budget, migrated to shared services and SAP, improved audit scores by 50%, and delivered $300M+ in savings; prior leadership roles at Guinness Nigeria (Diageo) and Procter & Gamble built deep category, capital sourcing, and plant expansion expertise.
A recognized industry voice, Harold is a CIPS Chartered Fellow and performance assessor, author of “The Procurement Blueprint,” and a published researcher on blockchain and AI in the International Journal of Science & Research Archive; He is a Faculty member with the Tekedia Institute and Rome Business School, serves on corporate boards, and leads the Harold Nwariaku Foundation. He holds an MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Cranfield University.
