Deborah is a seasoned Procurement Professional with expertise in category management, strategic sourcing, supplier management, stakeholder engagement, and the procurement of indirect services, materials, and labor-based services. She possesses in-depth industry knowledge across Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Telecommunications.
Throughout her career, Deborah has built strong relationships with key business stakeholders and strategic partners, serving as a trusted business advisor to align strategy, ensure business continuity, and drive significant cost reductions. She has successfully implemented various process improvements to enhance efficiencies both within procurement and across broader business operations.
Her key strengths include leadership, people management, process optimization, stakeholder engagement, category management, strategic sourcing, project management, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cross-functional team collaboration, business reviews, and continuous learning.
Since 2022, Deborah has served as the Director of Indirect Goods and Services for Integra LifeSciences’ Global Procurement organization, overseeing an indirect spend of approximately $400 million. Under her leadership, she implemented an energy partnership for utility spend management, driving annual cost savings of approximately $1.4 million through a go-to-market strategy. Additionally, she led the implementation of a contingent worker program for temporary labor, achieving annual savings of approximately $2.26 million within a $37 million program. She continues to refine processes, strengthen team collaboration, and enhance organizational efficiency through initiatives such as a Sourcing Process Roadmap, standardized Request for Proposal/Quotation/Solution templates, savings tracking mechanisms, a Checkpoint Process for team alignment, and the application of Lean Methodology practices.
With over 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences industry, Deborah has been an active member of the Institute of Supply Management for more than 25 years. She has held various leadership roles within the New Jersey chapter, including serving as President from 2018 to 2020. Currently, she remains engaged as a Trustee, collaborating with her peers whenever possible.
Deborah holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Widener University and a Master of Science in Management with a minor in Project Management from Stevens Institute of Technology. She is a Lifetime Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) and a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM).
