Chris DiNardo is a global procurement and strategic sourcing leader with more than 20 years of experience building high-performing procurement organizations and delivering measurable business value. He is Vice President of Procurement and Strategic Sourcing at Beam Therapeutics, where he has built and scaled the procurement function supporting the company’s growth in Base Editing and next-generation genetic medicines. Chris is the organization’s first procurement leader and has established capabilities across strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, risk management, contracting, and procure-to-pay, while partnering closely with executive and cross-functional leadership. Chris has led strategic sourcing and complex RFPs supporting major capital and operational initiatives, including the build-out and opening of Beam’s 100,000 sq.ft manufacturing facility in North Carolina and its R&D facility in Cambridge. His leadership spans clinical, technical operations, and manufacturing supply chain strategies, as well as procurement technology and digital transformation across Coupa, SAP, and NetSuite. Throughout his career, Chris has focused on creating leverage through strategic sourcing, disciplined prioritization, process transformation, and stakeholder alignment.
